Pizza's were made fresh to order, I usually like a more "italian" crust to my pizza this was definitely thicker more American base.

They claim to have "special sauces" but I don't really I could differentiate it from any other pizza?

I did think they could have been more generous with the topping of the pizza.

Price (as you can tell) weren't too bad? But they were not cheap either (by my standards?) and you can clearly tell this was one of the hang
out places if you studied in the University of Tromsø!

If I were to go back again?

Probably not, if I find something else to try next time.

Price : Roughly 80 GBP when booked with advance booking. And about 15 GBP for parking for a day.

Overall I think people that book this hotel probably do it because it is located right in the heart of Edinburgh's Royal Mile. Though if you were to honestly ask me if it was worth the money, I would probably said No.

If ever I was in Edinburgh again, I would no doubt book a hotel on Princes Street (The Balmoral? Ramada? Hilton?) instead as I do feel that there is more happening across the street (literally)

Edinburgh is quite small that more often than not, people should just walk.

Don't get me wrong, I had a great time there. Sheets were clean, pillows were aplenty, available parking at a fee (if you rented a car like we did), relatively quiet.

It's just that there wasn't really any view out of the windows, room were sub-par (nothing WOW-ing) for it to claim a 4 star status. I understood that part of my Terms and Condition for an "Advance Booking" was not being able to pick the bed types and room's but being a cheap that I am, for almost 100 Pounds I sort of expected a little bit more.

If you are planning on traveling to Edinburgh on a Shoestring, I highly recommend http://www.smartcityhostels.com/ which is cheaper and lies right beside Radisson Blu.

I was there quite a while back but from reviews it still isn't to bad!

And if I wanted to splurge a bit I would either choose The Balmoral or Hilton or Ramada

(all of which lies in the same price category really if you do your research ahead of time)

I remembered this place only because, little known to us people in Edinburgh don't eat breakfast that early.

Could be the effect of last night's partying if you ask me?

We were out and about town looking for a good place to have breakfast only to find out most stalls over at The Royal Mile (High Street?) will not be opened till at least 10 a.m. :( That actually including breakfast stalls! So if I were you, I would have slept in.

This was one of the first that opened, and overall it was good. And it was all rightly priced? It We were hungry and ultimately, it was just breakfast.

I had the Sirloin which was rather tough, heavily breaded onion rings, a very sad mix of "salads", heavily spiced tomatoes and fries and I am also quite sure were nothing more than frozen supermarket fries.

Since I am going back to Malaysia in April with Magnar I have been crazily looking for accommodations for us to stay in. And I now realize something, hotels in Malaysia is starting to costing a bomb!

Hotels in Penang cost roughly about RM 400 (a night) and above so I had to start looking for other options if I wanted to save money but yet be able to stay somewhere comfortable and lies in a good location.

I thought for a bit and started to wonder what are my options when it comes to finding cheaper accommodations at the great location and the first hit of Google was CariBilik.

CariBilik is a portal where people can publish houses/apartments for rent both long term and short term.

I surfed around the page and I found that www.caribilik.com had quite a few good choices. They had hundreds and hundreds of different locations and with different price range!

And the best part is, you can actually view pictures of the location before deciding too!

For example this one at Miami Green located at Batu Ferringi Beach which you can rent for a day, a week or a whole month going for a fraction of the price would pay at the hotel across the street!

In addition, the website has loads of rental houses/apartments/hotel/etc all over Malaysia, which definitely helps when you are going to travel about. I know for a fact they have loads of different places to rent especially in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johore (tourist areas)

For example, this one. It is located at the Golden Triangle region which hotels prices running sky high, CariBilik has a room for only RM135! That is definitely a good deal!

So really, CariBilik not only benefits someone looking for a long term rental, but also really appeals to tourist looking for a quick getaway.

2 years ago, about this time in the middle of Times Square in New York I stood amidst 100,000 (probably more) people. While I had some of the best times I have ever had and crave for it every time the New Year dawns, this was the day I found out that in this world, you need to find your solid ground because amidst all these people, when the clock stoke 12 - I was in reality alone.

I remembered clearly what I wanted, and what I expected, what I got and what I didn't.

This day in 2008 I learnt to love myself before others. I grew up.

Last year in 2009 I told myself to live with less expectations. Less expectations in others, but more expectations in myself. I told myself to drive myself further, push myself harder and be ultimately, independent.

And in 2010 I did just that. (Or at least, tried)

In 2010, I learnt that I am one stubborn cookie. I remembered times when I hit my rock bottom, but as saying goes, when you hit rock bottoms, you need to gather courage to stand up, for if we look at it, there is no way else but up. Life was designed to bring us down only to show how strong we really are.

In 2010 I learn that my biggest fear, is failing myself.
I learnt that I am determined to the point that if I were to wake up one day and have nothing to strive for, then I have failed myself.

In 2011, I am going to enter it knowing what I want, and how to get it. I know this is as cliche as it gets, but I am ready for whatever life is going to throw at me in 2011, for I know now,

No matter what happens, for everyday I wake up, I know I have a the greatest gift of all. Life.

Its so hard to find amazingly cooked meat at the restaurants these days. :P

4. A good classic board game.

And I meant classic only because I don't like explaining the rules every time we want to play.

So, this are stuff I ~~wish~~ (probably need to buy myself) list. Some superficial, some I actually really need but cannot come to terms with parting with my hard earned money. Fml.

On no order of preference what-so-ever.

1. ~~A new camera!~~ ~~SLR, not SLR, Digital, Polaroid, at this point whatever. Something so I can click and stare at gorgeous pictures.~~ Have decided to buy this myself with my Christmas money.

2. A camera bag to put my camera in. If am going spend all my money on the camera itself, where am I to find money for a bag too? So Santa, I would like a nice bag for my camera please, A Crumpler 7 million dollar home in Red would be nice as I definitely do not want a ugly regular looking camera bag.

3. Hunter Boots in Navy Blue colour. Which Magnar sort of said he would get it for me, but even if he doesn't I would definitely go get it myself when I head to Scotland. So Santa, you don't have to get me this. :D

4. A new running shoe. A Nike Free would be lovely. You have no idea how ugly mine is since I use it all the bludeh time. I live in my working out shoes I am desperately in need of a new one

5. YSL Arty Oval ring. This ring is simply uh.mah.zing.

6. A new agenda/wallet preferably from Mulberry or Miu Miu. Actually Santa, what I really want is a new bag, but since they cost way too much money. I can settle with smaller things I use daily. And as of right now, nothing is more important than a good organizer. :)

7. A new knitted sweater, in beige or camel.

Santa I freeze often because I simply do not have any warm clothes. :P

349. Never look down on people.

Never.

I learn that after actually having worked a whole bunch this year. Never look down on people no matter who, how or what they are doing. Because behind all of it, you really don't deserve to judge, unless you know whats behind the facade.

Since I have worked I learn to appreciate so much more. I got a comment today that make it sound like being a waitress is such a bad thing. Supposedly it is something so bad, such a "non trivial job" (and this I quote), so low class and what nots.

You know, someones got to do it.

Let it be clear I have never been a waitress before in my life, but I have am/was once a cashier person at a grocery store. I guess that was one of the lowest "low class" jobs I have ever had. But that low class job I had paid me more money than any other jobs I have ever had (as a social worker, babysitter, etc). It allowed me to be completely debt free and allowed me to not rely on a student loan or any sorts of loan for that matter.

It showed me that I am obviously not like you (Oh, I know you will read this).

I at the very least work for my God damn money.

I am so sorry that my parents didn't leave me a million dollar at my disposal. Crap right, damn my parents. Damn they too have to work. So sad so sad.

(Interval so we can all cry about how sad my life is) *Cry cry cry*

I know of people who waits and have homes 5 story's high. Its called learning the value of a dollar.

Oh and I think the one best lesson from working a "low class" job is it really drives you. It drives you to do better. It shows you what you are capable and drives you there. It shows you that sometimes you need to climb the ladder (with enough determination). You don't just end up on the top. You need to get there.

Lastly,

It teaches you how to appreciate people.

Do you think someone would do those "non-trivial" job if they had a choice? No.

But they do it. How do you know they dont have a family to feed at home?

And who are you to tell criticize them for that?

So I see there are still actually a few people that visit my blog daily though my updates has been very scarce.

Its about 1.16 am now as I am typing this. I just finished reading a chapter of my Python Programming homework so I understand a little bit more in class next week. And now I am going to go watch some Mtv's True Life and maybe browse the Kenzo show from Paris Fashion Week for some eye candy!

I haven't been up to much lately, besides the usual but today Magnar and I took a quick trip to Oslo for the sake of it and I must admit that I throughly enjoyed myself.

First we went over to the Kunstindustri museum (Art Industry? Museum)

Which in my honest opinion was far from being anywhere near my idea of a good museum, there was a bit to see but nothing to really write home about.

The fun-est thing we did there was playing at the children section, colouring patterns. Yeah, we never really grow up really.

Then we went over for some vegetarian food at Vega (which happens to be the same place I have been before with a different name) Completely recommended. Might write a review on it if I go there again!

Then we headed to Pascals for some macaroons, then some Geo-caching then we heading to Lillestrøm, had sushi and watched James Bond.

So yeah. That was my 10.10.10.

I have had some time to think lately, and since I feel like a lot of things in life are going in my favour I can afford (literally and not so literally) to start thinking of what the future holds.

Sometimes I think the future terrifies me in more ways than I can imagine. But its enthralling to think of what tomorrow might bring, who will stick with me, and who I have to leave behind in the quest for my own selfish happiness. In order for us to find happiness in others, we need to find our own happiness.

I wish I could share what I have planned, but I can't (and I do as of right now hope that I will carry them through) I don't need you or anyone else to tell me what I should or should not be doing.

I was telling Magnar's dad how I've never really had the chance to live the "single life" and would like to date another 100 people. So he said, at the rate I am going, I need to get through my men faster.(*Not exact quote, but the point remains) Haha!

So I thought how hard can it be to find 100 men?

Let me tell you. Hard.

Come do some math with me!

Lets do some math. Since I don't actually have very many friends I have to turn to Facebook to carry out my imaginary experiment.

So as of today, I have 240 Facebook friends and 60 pending friend request. (And since I need the numbers, I'll use the 60 pending)

1.First due to personal preference sexual preference I need to eliminate well, woman/girls.

(300/2=150)

2.Right,then you need to find men who is "dateable" material. Lets say, we take half the men as "all-right" (150/2=75)

3.Then you have to lower it down taking away men who well, have same gender preference as me. And well, I have lots of gay men friends, and they are super <3 but unfortunately...

So, lets say I have

(65-10=55)

4.Then we have to lower down to men who are already taken. I might be on a quest, but I am not well... needy and horny. :P

(55/2= plus minus 23)

5. Then I need to make sure that these men I am trying to find is within a day of travel range. I dont want to waste my days traveling if I want to keep my 100 men goal. :P

(23-20=3)

6. Then I need to find a men who is willing to entertain me, give me cuddles, take me out, answer my calls any day or time, a person you can talk about anything and everything, you know all that mushy stuff. etc etc

(3-1=2)

7. Now comes the tricky bit, we of course need to have the men to want you so, that eliminates even more people

8. And to top it all off, since I believe we should all have standards and thus I need to want every one of that "100 men" myself too. I can never imagine dating men unless I actually like them. And plus, I don't want to be some weird slut solely on a quest.

So yeah, after all that calculation we have narrowed my options, I am left with one dude.

I think as of right now, you were meant for me!

And there probably isn't any other better person for me either.

And above all, there probably isn't any person I really want more than you.

Its sometimes hard to see it in the midst of a mood tantrum and when you don't learn to answer my calls, or entertain me all the time, but all that goes over and it will be okay again.

School is really really hectic, but I love it.

It does get a bit overwhelming sometimes with all the new things you have to absorb (and they are quite difficult no doubt), but if I was doing things I knew from before and it isn't a challenge I cant really then say I am learning, can I?

As of today, I am Day 5 of my 10 day work streak. Insanely tired.

I am starting to get very tired in the mornings, I am always moody by the afternoon, and by night all I want to do is to just go to sleep.

Eff my life.

I am getting so completely dark it is craaaaaaaazy. I never really did like the sun.

Anyways, guess this is what people have been telling me about the working life.

In any case, I am going to start school again soon so that is insanely exciting, and before you burst out laughing, from this August onwards, I am going to be studying Math and Economics!

I really dont mind the Economics ( Heck, it was the reason why I choose that course ), but the Math ... We'll just have to wait and see on that one.

I am trying to remind myself that I got in to the course with the grades I have, and so in many ways I am "qualified" for it? I shouldn't feel like the other students are definitely going to be smarter, better and probably more sane than I am, right?

So, I wish I could do some awesome updating about how amazingly happening my life is right now, but unfortunately... my life isn't that happening!

My week usually consist of 10 days of work, then 4 days off. And incase you are ever wondering I have the most unglamourous job you can possibly imagine having. I work as a parking lady. I think it might get better soon though because Johanne is going to start working with me soon!

Other than that, I have only been lazing around doing nothing entertaining my smelly sister.

And if this information is of any importance, the Hjelmstad brothers are taking me and my sister out to Fratelli today! Mmmm. I love Fratelli, so I can't wait!

I wonder sometimes, why is it that whenever I said that I owe nothing to Malaysia as far as I can feel/see, they have given me nothing, I get criticized for not being patriotic?

Putting the racial issue aside and how I know that back in Malaysia I am classified as a second class citizen, why should I feel like I am indebted to Malaysia?

Come next year, I would have been living in Norway for 5 years. That is a quarter of my lifetime.

Norway has in the last 5 years, given me the opportunity to go to school, to get a Diploma, the ability to go to a University (or any colleges my heart desires, doing whatever I choose), is willing to give me a loan/grant as like every other Norwegians so I can go to school, given my the opportunity to work and make a living and above Norway has never ever treated me like I am any less worthy.

Surely, there are times where they will put their people ahead of me, but as far as I am concern its the endless possibilities this country has for me is what matters most.

All these things Norway has done for me, do I still have to feel that Malaysia is where I owe my duties to?

Really, what has Malaysia done for me that is that significant?

If I was back home, I probably wouldn't even have had the opportunity to go to a Uni unless my parents/me paid for it. Not because I am not qualified, simply because I wasn't born the right race.

So yeah, after months of job hunting I finally landed myself a job!

Completely unglamorous, but I am working as a parking ticket lady. (Due to the lack of better term)

Basically I think what my job is to collect money and hand some ticket over to people in Nebben. :D

318. Rainbow cupcakes

We made rainbow cupcakes today!

As toxic as it sounds, it was fun to play and create it!

And it is actually really easy to make. You really just make a basic vanilla cupcake recipe, separate them into 7 (we made 6 because well, indigo and purple are ... almost the same).

Anyways, separate the batch, add food colouring accordingly and then slowly layer them in a muffin form.

Put them in the oven like as directed by the recipe and tadah!

Nam!

I use this recipe for my cupcake. And it works amazing and incredibly simple to make!

Of course, it tasted really good.

I am sure if you want to save time, you can easily buy a ready made butter cake batter or plain yellow cake mix and it would work fine too :)

I have tried the simple white plain template but that didnt work, and the HTML was wayyyy too complicated to mess around with.

I forgot an important bit of my dinner yesterday, I got to personally meet this guy.

Heck, I even got to make dinner for him!

The Røkholts attract a lot of awesome people over to their home!

I had completely no idea who he was, until Ellen (Johanne's mum) made him play the piano, and OH. MY. GOD. I was completely gobsmacked.

Completely gobsmacked.

I feel that the Youtube video doesn't do him enough justice, but you got to believe me he was amazing on the piano! His emotions, his movements, every note he touches, *squeals*

And, I for one am a huge sucker for anyone who plays the piano!

And when you can play like that ... *le sigh*

You know what is more amazing about this guy, it is that he was also an amazing normal guy with extra ordinary talents. He was really friendly, very humble and completely well cute. :)

So yeah, that was a fun day yesterday!

And if you are wondering, yes he plays music for a living and has won countless of music awards. So, he isn't just an ordinary guy who plays a piano.

306. Malaysian Dinner!

Johanne's family invited me over for their International Dinner yesterday and it so happened that yesterday was International Dinner from Malaysia!

And so, I was asked/they suggested that I made dinner and so I did!

I made some lamb curry and Roti Canai starters, A Chicken Briyani entré, and Fried Banana Friters with exotic fruits and longan caramel.

(Okay, exotic fruits is just really longan and laici's from a can)

Well, it went down well with everyone, so I guess it wasn't so bad? I am quite biased over my own cooking so, only Johanne can tell you if the food was okay!

Wonder if I can interest you guys with the recipe for the desert for it was amazing!

And since I do not have any pictures from yesterday, here is more pictures of me. Because I am mega yummy too! :P HAHAHA

On my vegetarian day today, can you tell?

I realize, I am a usually quite a vegetarian (as a diet plan, not because I love animals kind of vegetarian) Anyways, I am usually a vegetarian unless I start meeting people and eat out or happen to be at the Hjelmstads!

*Le Sigh, why do I have no self control? :(

And no, I am not a healthy eater at all, just yesterday I had a chocolate cake, a chocolate sundae and Chicken Tika! Ahh, what massive calorie bomb! :(

My idea is as such, either I can drive myself anorexic trying to get the ideal body (which I would, if I could) or every now and then allow myself to enjoy a little bit of life's little pleasures, just a little more in moderation.

So, I have this brand new pair of Buffalo Boots shoes in a size 40 that is honestly, not for human feet.

Or fits someone with a shoe size 40 (True to size).

Bought in Denmark for about 900 Danish Krone. So plus minus RM 500?

Can be bought online for 99 Euro (Unfortunately, no linking to the shoes itself)

Looks identical to this, only in shiny patent leather.

Since I am more a size 39.5. The shoe doesn't fit me as well. Thus almost impossible to walk in.

Worn a total of about 6 hours. So it is practically brand new :)

And every girl needs a Patent Leather pumps A-la Christian Louboutin right!

So, I have been doing everything else but my reading, because it is seriously getting amazingly brain numbingly boring.

So, is it just me, or whenever comes I do everything else that suddenly need to be done, so I don't do what really needs to be done.

So far, I have done my hair twice, cleaned my computer, cleaned my room, changed my sheets, and decorate the room.

So, here is some coulis! Magnar style!

Yes, I get I can call it a sauce, but I want to be fancy. Okay?

Start with some fresh strawberries!

Add some vanilla sugar. I honestly think it is to your own taste.

And I don't think Magnar had a recipe for it either.

Start releasing your hidden anger on it, till you get a smooth-ish mixture.

Mmmmmm, om nom nom nom!

And though I have never seen a coulis made till the other day, I can sense the wonders of what it can be used for!

I dont know if you can tell, but here in Norway. It is like a strawberry season.

So, I have been eating strawberries for the past weeks! Mainly Belgian though.

And after being in Norway for some time, I can tell you this much, there really is no better strawberries than the Norwegian ones. They are so much sweeter has a lot more taste in them!

But until July comes, we have to make do with whatever we can get, right!

Oh and I only found out that the versatility of strawberries is insane.

Here we have the classic chocolate sauce and strawberries!

I think I might have found one of the most uh-mah-zing recipe I have tried yet!

So for the best pancakes recipe yet *drumroll please*

Ingredients

190 g all-purpose flour
10 g baking powder
6 g salt
10 g white sugar
295 ml milk
1 egg
45 g butter, melted

Directions

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

I don't know about you, but I always seperate the egg whites and egg yolks then whisk the egg whites till they are nice and fluffy before adding the yolk back in (or leave out). I always believe that is the recipe to gather in most air thus making the pancakes extra fluffy!

Today I had mine with some leftover strawberries and cream and honey.

293. Quest for shiny legs

Yes, you heard me right, and I have mentioned it before about how I am trying to achieve a pair of "shiny legs" and contrary to popular believes *coughJohannecough* I do not already have shiny legs.

So, I thought if I can't have something naturally, there is always what I call "product enhancement". For my case, I have been using baby oil.

Why baby oil?

Mainly I thought logically, it is oil and oil makes things shiny, so why not?

That, and the fact that I am a bit of a cheap when it comes to things like this. If I can get the same effect for a cheaper price, why pay hundreds of dollars for it right?

So, my baby oil cost me about 30 NOK/ 7USD.

Verdict : After using it for over a month. Cannot say my legs are any shinier than before :(

So, in terms of whether it works, the answer is No.

Although so, it did help with my dry skin.

Would I keep using it? Yes.

Again, for the price I pay, I really see no harm in lathering on some baby oil every now and then.

Though a word of warning : Oil is extremely messy and sticky to work with. You do risk the chance of staining things and making others slip in the bathroom if you are not careful!

290. Relationships 1.0

Expectations.

The first thing I learnt about relationships is definitely this. Expectations.

When we are younger, all we see are happy couples on cartoons, Prince Charming being there for every single Princess, Prince Charming always looks spectacular and flawless, they wait indefinitely for that one Princess, and in other words, they were just the "perfect man"

It has also been embedded in us that, second best is never good enough.

In many ways, I still want the best of everything. But when it comes to relationship, the way I see it, there is no such thing as perfection.

I have never came across one. Honestly, have you?

That person always seeking perfection. That person is always me.

I mean, Why should we settle for anything less when our happiness right?

That was before I realize this one flaw in seeking perfection.

In perfection, comes illusions.

Illusions of things, that you become deluded believing that perfection exist. And you know exactly what happens when you look for perfection, you overlooked what right there in front of you. You push aside an entire perfectly fine person because they come with some flaws.

I cannot lie, but it did take me a few months to see Magnar for the wonderful guy he was. Still is.

So what? he is not a royal family (so I can become an official princess?) So what? I don't get showered with flowers and chocolates every day? So what if I don't get trips to Paris for the weekend? So what if he doesn't buy me my Chanel's and Marc Jacobs?

Magnarboy is better than Prince Charming, mainly because he is real.

And he has given me more than any Prince could have, he has given me a chance to look at myself and realize that life is worth living. That there is possible to open yourself out to more people than just yourself.

I don't really need my material wants and needs, things and money are a measure of nothing. And more often than not, they are things you can easily get with a little hard work.

And before looking for someone elses' flaws, remind yourself that everyone is flawed.

And that includes basically you and me.

So relationship cliché #1 : True

Its easy to like someone for their perfections, but when you can look past that is when you know you have something special.

289. Looking forward

So, I usually don't talk about relationships on my blog ever, unless I do it unknowingly.

This is mainly because, even though in many ways I think what Magnar and I have is quite amazing, it is no guarantee that things will always be this way.

It really doesn't take much to put a strain on relationships you know.

That, and I really don't like prying people.

I think I tell too much about myself here as it is.

And I should know, because every now and then I get so emotionally pissed at everything and everyone, I myself don't know how tomorrow will turn out. :)

But lucky me, Magnar has always been nice enough to weather some emotional storms and we are still going strong. In less than a weeks time, we would have been "officially dating" for 2 years. Plus minus.

So since I am feeling a bit on the mushy mode, I thought I would do a stream of "How idiots make relationship work, the cliché and if it works" :)

Well, I got home from Denmark last Tuesday and have only been trying to read and read and read for the exams. That and spend time with Magnarboy.

Then yesterday we had the opportunity to do something extra ordinary! We went over to the Tusenfryd!

Which if you don't know, is a theme park over here in Norway!

It was aweeeeesome!

Never mind, I am getting too old for rides and my adrenaline rushes aren't that great anymore, it was a nice change of environment! :)

Aunt thinks I have way too many shoes and insisted I either do something with at least 5-6 of them. :(

Personally, I don't think I have too many. I have loads of the same kinds of shoes and they more often than not, don't fit the outfit I have on! So, how is that too many?

But I do somewhat agree it has to be done though.
I really don't like having too many that things just start to be a bit over whelming. Plus I don't exactly especially like shoes.

My biggest issue with shoes like everything else, is that I have not used all of them long enough to give or sell them away, but I haven't used them enough to keep them either.
Irony of life right.

And some shoes cost a whole lot (for me at least, because I am such a cheap) and some cost the equivalent of a pack of chips. So keeping and giving is a bit more tricky then you think.

Good thing is, I can show you later how in order to keep my babies save from harms way, I have decided to make my book shelfs their new home.

I got invited to join "Kate & Co" for some Indian food at Agra restaurant over at Lillestrøm.

My honest review for that place?

It was effing fantastic!

I usually have very high expectations for Indian and Chinese food because, I like my Indian and Chinese to resemble those I taste back home in Malaysia.

And the ones in Norway usually don't taste as great.

But Agra is insane! Insanely good.

I am going to go as far as saying that it was probably one of the best Indian food I have ever tasted!

Unfortunately, we were being proper and didn't actually take any pictures.

But that just means, we could just use our imagination instead?

I feel a fever coming down. Either that or my body is trying to adjust the temperature shifts. In any case, my head is throbbing, so I am heading to bed after this.

Oh wait, I'll call my Papayapie first. He always makes everything feel a bit better.

Anyways, I bought myself some sunscreens this year so I can stay nice and untanned/unburnt this summer. Now that is done, its time to tell you about my "secret project".

My secret project is basically, getting my legs to be shiny.

You know, some people were just born with legs that shines and glows. I want that!

And you know, as the saying goes.
If you can't get something naturally, get it synthetically.

So lately, I have been insanely oiling it with baby oil. And I guess I'll update you on how this project is going after I finish my first bottle of babyoil! :)

So, I was thinking I was going to blog about something random and completely rubbish, but I thought since this is still fresh on my mind, I could pen something down here first.

To make things short, how do you really break it to your friend that her boyfriend is obviously cheating on her, and she should move on?

Or you just don't and just keep it to yourself?

I am not talking about the possibility of him cheating, he obviously is.

She knows it herself. But like most people, Sometimes we rather choose to live in denial than to face reality.

Because when it comes to matter like this, when reality hits, your world really does comes crashing down.

I know that myself, because I have been there and done that.

And you wouldn't believe when I started the amount of people who claimed Magnar is cheating on me.

(Guess the crucial difference between my story and hers is mine, were unbased allegations, hers is not)

And I know, some I can easily shrug off, some not so easy.

Fortunately for me, with enough trust and understanding, I finally understood why people had to say that to me.

And I guess I knew it my the corner of my heart, Magnar would not do that.
She on the other hand, knows otherwise.

So, anyways I know it would be horrible both ways for her.

And, if you were me, do still want to be the one inflicting the pain on her?

I've known her for a really long time now, so she is quite an important friend, and thus the last thing I would want to do is hurt her.

So, how?
Should I not say anything? Even when she wants my opinion?

I personally thought it was quite a good film! :)

So, I was over at a job interview today. I applied for a job at the Lost and Found over at Oslo International Airport. So, I hope I get it. It would be an uh-mah-zing summer if I can get a job at the airport, for I just loooooooove airports and everything about the airports.

The planes, the people, the atmosphere, the everything!

Oh, the pay definitely helps too.

Well, of course I hope I get it. The lady that interviewed me didn't say anything just yet. But I have a good feeling, so I hope I get hired!

*crosses fingers*

Once I get hired at one place, my search for a job can stop looking!

Then I can just look forward to the summer!

And oh, I can feel it already, summertime

So I had a heated debate with a certain somebody earlier today about Apple products. It is always the same arguments and I am getting a bit tired of it. Only difference with that certain someone is that he probably just wants to ignite annoyance from me. *shrugs it off*

It is always the same excuse about how Apple users are brainwashed and are fanboi's and whatnots.

I love my Macbook and iPod which is the only 2 product I have from Apple. In fact, I love it.

Not always though, not when my battery charger burns or when my hard drive crashed with everything in it :( But every time other than that.

I just don't understand when people do that. Make negative remarks like you have done something wrong.

Just like comments filled with hatred and of no purpose whatsoever. I read Nanirostam's (it's in Malay though) blog the other day about hate comments. Unless you have a point on why you don't like it, why bother people with it?

Telling me, you are only liking it because you are being brainwashed tells me what?

Of course I am not saying one can't state opinions, there is a difference in giving opinion and bluntly criticizing others on no based whatsoever.

Just like Nanirostam was saying, if you bought a pack of rice from the stall and it didn't live up to your expectation, why bother yourself to go complain and talk bad about it to everyone you know, your simplest solution is to just not buy it anymore. Finish. Case closed. Everyone's happy.

You buy things and live your life a different way than everyone else. So, more often than not, it is not likely that we all like the same thing. No?

So, Its the weekend again! Can't say I have got a lot of plans but today is Rona's birthday!

266. Easter!

So, a few days ago I was invited over to the Hjelmstad's place for some "Easter dinner" Though it honestly felt more like an Easter lunch to me. Well, since we did start at 4 pm

What can I say?

Kate and Co, always makes some of the most yummy food there is!

And, Even on regular days! It is insane that house. Completely insane.

Oh, and after food we even managed to squeeze in an Easter egg hunt!
It was probably my first Easter egg hunt ever!

Then we had a main course of some roast lamb? potatoes and some gravy looking awesome thing.

Though,by then, I was too busy being a glutton, I couldn't be bothered to take any more pictures :)

Then came desserts, and I realized... I couldn't resist not taking pictures.

I never did anything special during Easter before and it used to just be another vacation, so it was a really nice change for once. Guess I should be quite thankful, I got invited? :)

265. Skiing, or attempts

Yeah, most of my attempts are of me, falling.

No really, every turn, every corner.

Well fine, I am not that horrible (or I would like to believe). I did make it down once or twice without falling!

But, relatively quite a klutz.

"Thats me going, Stop taking pictures! You silly boy!

I want nice ones!"

But oh well... Haha!

It is awesome fun anyways!

I really did have a lot of fun. Like all things in life, if you fall, stand up, and try again.

Try it till it kills you, I guess. :)

Personally I cannot imagine myself, actually liking doing it, but skiing is definitely growing on me.

I can see how if one can ski, it can probably be quite fun :)

Unfortunately, skiing season is starting to come to an end. Maybe i'll try again next year.

Or maybe, Magnarpie.. want to go again, say... tomorrow?
